We work with:

Terms, compensation, IP assignment, and confidentiality are defined in your signed agreement. Nothing here modifies a signed agreement.
Remote-first: Set a safe, ergonomic workspace.
Core collaboration window: 12:00–16:00 EST
for cross-time-zone overlap. Outside this, work asynchronously.
Response expectations:
Message within 1 business day; urgent issues via #incidents

Meetings: Agenda-driven, recorded or minuted when useful, respectful of time zones.
Languages: English is default; French/Portuguese/Spanish welcome in team contexts.
Treat colleagues, partners, and community with respect.
Give and receive feedback candidly and constructively.
No hate speech, harassment, or abusive behavior.
Follow community guidelines when representing the Studio online or at events.
Confidentiality: Protect non-public information (game designs, code, roadmaps, finances, partner data). Use only for Studio work and share on a need-to-know basis.
Intellectual Property: Work product created for the Studio belongs to the Studio as defined in your agreement (work-made-for-hire/assignment). External work must not conflict.
Open-Source & Side Projects: Obtain written approval before contributing in a way that affects Studio IP or uses Studio resources.
Conflicts of Interest: Disclose outside engagements with vendors, publishers, or competitors to <people@khronmiere.com>

Accounts: Use strong, unique passwords and 2FA on Studio tools.
Devices: Keep OS/software updated, enable disk encryption, lock screens when away.
Access: Least-privilege principles; do not share credentials.
Data: Handle personal data under our Privacy Policy. For EU/UK/CA data, follow applicable laws (GDPR, Law 25, PIPEDA).
Incident Reporting: Report suspected breaches, phishing, lost/stolen devices immediately to #incidents

Provided/Approved Tools: Unreal, Gitea, ClickUp, OneDrive, Discord, Figma
Equipment: Studio-owned gear remains Studio property; return upon request or departure. Personal devices (BYOD) must meet security standards above.
Purchases: Obtain approval before committing expenses.
Reimbursements: Submit receipts within 30 days via <expense system>

Home-office basics (chair/desk/monitor) — up to <amount>
with pre-approval.
Software licenses — must be approved and assigned to Studio accounts.
(Employees; contractors follow contract terms.)
Holidays: Follow your local statutory holidays; Studio-wide breaks announced annually.
Vacation: Minimum 20
days annually (prorated). Coordinate with your lead.
Sick/Personal Days: Take needed time and inform your lead ASAP.
Parental/Family/Medical Leave: Provided per local law; contact people@khronmiere.com
for arrangements.
Unpaid Leave: May be approved case-by-case.
Maintain a safe home workspace (ergonomics, electrical safety).
Report injuries or hazards related to work immediately.
We promote sustainable pace—no routine crunch. Extended hours require approval and must comply with local law.

Social Media: Be respectful; do not disclose confidential info. Use designated Studio accounts for official posts.
Streaming/Content Creation: Requires prior approval if Studio assets are involved.
Plan in vertical slices; define clear acceptance criteria.
Use code reviews and content reviews; write clear docs and tickets.
Log work transparently; escalate risks early.
Respect licensure and third-party asset terms.
Do not offer or accept bribes or improper advantages.
Gifts/Meals: Permitted only if modest and infrequent (e.g., ≤ <amount>
). Disclose any potential appearance of influence.
Use resources responsibly (power usage, build farm time, cloud budgets).
Treat partner communities and platforms with professionalism; follow their codes of conduct.

We prohibit retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith.
We aim for coaching first. Depending on severity, actions may include verbal or written warnings, suspension of access, contract termination, or legal action. We comply with local employment laws and contractual obligations.
